Facebook Turns Its Default Privacy Settings To Friends Only

Previously you can share things with friends, selected persons and whomever you want. But now Facebook said that some people are very strict with their profile sharing privacy. If they mistakenly share updates to everyone rather than sharing with friends then they don't have to worry about that, facebook recently change its default sharing privacy Public to Friend.

While some people want to post to everyone, others have told us that they are more comfortable sharing with a smaller group, like just their friends. We recognize that it is much worse for someone to accidentally share with everyone when they actually meant to share just with friends, compared with the reverse.

It means if you don't select any auidence for an update then it will be set to friends. This new update is beneficial for that person who newly join facebook and doesn't know the privacy options or forget to select a specific person. This feature is now exist for everyone.
